The second title revealed at today’s OTK Winter Games Expo is Hell Clock - a roguelike ARPG from Brazilian studio Rogue Snail where ultra-fast Path of Exile-like action meets roguelike mechanics.
In Hell Clock, players will blast through dungeons and unleash inhuman powers in a dark fantasy twist on Brazil’s 19th century War of Canudos, a significant conflict in the history of the country. Play as Pajeú, a warrior who earned his freedom in battle, fighting to rescue the soul of The Counselor—his mentor and spiritual leader of Canudos. With each descent, time bends and your powers grow as you face ever-stronger horrors commanding the dark forces that claimed The Counselor's head and trapped his soul.
Hell Clock will launch on Steam in the summer of 2025. A playtest featuring the game’s first two Acts is now live - head to the Steam page to take part. This playtest will be live for one week, ending on Wednesday, December 11.

- Fight At Your Own Pace - Whether you seek a brutal test against history's oppressors or a thoughtful journey of justice, Hell Clock adapts to your path. Remove all time pressure with Relaxed Mode, or push your limits in Hardcore mode.
- Vengeance Never Ends - Experience a complete three-act story campaign, then test your perfectly-tuned builds in the challenging Endgame where your gear, abilities, and playstyle are pushed to their limits.
Rogue Snail CEO and Creative Director, Marc Venturelli, shared more about the game and the studio’s goals with it:
“When we started working on this game we asked ourselves, ‘What would it be like if an entire Diablo season or Path of Exile league took just 20 minutes?’ And that’s what Hell Clock is: a roguelike that encourages aggressive and fast gameplay. Hell Clock is also a very personal project for all of us at Rogue Snail. In my 17-year career, this is my first project primarily voiced in Brazilian Portuguese, and also based entirely on Brazilian history and culture. We feel like we're ready to tell our version of the Canudos story - not only to the whole world, but also to many fellow Brazilians who might not be fully aware of its grim events and repercussions which can still be felt to this day.”
